Only one day in Singapore? Here is how to make the most of your time!

10.00 Adventure cove water park

How to get there : FunVee Hopper Pass

Beat the heat with a day out at Adventure Cove Water Park. The park offers seven thrilling water rides, such as Pipeline Plunge, will get your heart racing while dropping you down an elevated chute and then sending you careening down radical twists and turns and dips before splashing out in a pool of water. But if all you want is a lazy day in the sun, grab a friend and a tube, and take a leisurely ride down Adventure River. You will drift past 14 stunning habitats including a lush jungle garden, a mysterious grotto, and an underwater tunnel with a sea of marine life swimming above and all around you.

At the Adventure Cove Waterpark, you can swim with up to 20,000 friendly fishes in a magnificent man-made coral reef called the Rainbow Reef. You can also enjoy snorkeling in a lagoon and play hide-and-seek in the man-made reef. Children can also enjoy the Seahorse Hideaway, a shallow wading pool complete with playful fountains that are just the right size for kids.

13.30 Flower Dome & Cloud Forest

How to get there : Take Subway to Bayfront Station (CE1/DT16) then walk for about 10 mins to the Flower Dome.

Flower Dome: Step into Flower Dome, a cooled conservatory displaying exotic plants from all over the world. Immerse yourself in the spectacular view of the Marina reservoir skyline, as you embark on your journey through the regionally themed gardens that highlight unique locales from the Mediterranean Basin, South West Australia, South Africa, Central Chile, and California. The Flower Dome holds a vast selection of unique plants like the Baobab Trees, the Madagascar Ghost Tree, and the 1000-year-old Olive tree. With an abundance of colors and fragrances, this garden gloriously displays the theme of ‘perpetual spring’ with the Flower Field, a botanical display of vibrant plants and blooms.

Cloud Forest: Enter another magical world as you step into the Cloud Forest, a mysterious world veiled in mist. With a 35-meter tall mountain covered in lush vegetation shrouding one of the world’s tallest indoor waterfalls, the Cloud Forest showcases plant life from the wet and cool highlands around the world. It has been densely planted with a mixture of fascinating orchids, delicate ferns, colorful bromeliads, dazzling begonias and carnivorous pitcher plants. Enjoy the surreal Cloud Walk as you stroll through the tree-tops and down into the caverns and valleys of a tropical mountain while you get the experience and feel the close relationships between plants, man, and the environment.

15.00 Sand Sky Park

Sands Sky Park is an Observation Deck located on the 57th floor of the Marina Bay Sands Resort. Perched up 200 meters in the air, Sands Sky Park is the show stopper of the Marina Bay Sands Resort. It extends out to a gravity-defying platform where the Sky Park Observation Deck is perched on, the largest of its kind in the world. Sands Sky Park provides an unrivaled panoramic city views and Marina Bay with its lush gardens, provides a stunning backdrop.

17.30 Singapore River Safari

How to get there :  All visitors must take a shuttle bus (SAEX Company) at Singapore Flyer to get to the River Safari at Coach Bay Area. 

Explore the world’s rivers at Singapore’s newest wildlife park that contains over 6000 animals, including 40 threatened endangered species, as well as the world’s largest freshwater aquarium. Stroll through Rivers of the World, from the mighty Mississippi to the impressive Yangtze. Marvel at mega-creatures such as the giant Chinese Salamander, the world’s largest amphibian, and the endangered giant Mekong Catfish, which can grow up to two meters long. There are so much more to see at Asia’s first and only river-themed wildlife park. It is nestled between Singapore Zoo and the Night Safari.

19.15 Singapore Night Safari

Singapore Night Safari opened its doors in 1994 and is located next to the Singapore Zoo. The Night Safari is the world’s first safari park for nocturnal animals so visitors can explore the animals during the night. You’ll be greeted by over 2,500 resident animals from over 130 species – including many indigenous to the region, such as the endangered Asian Elephants, Malayan Tapir and Malayan Tiger. The animals live in large plot of land of 35 acres of dense rainforest. Friendlier creatures such as deer roam freely in the park while fiercer ones like leopards are kept behind barriers. It is the safari trip you don’t want to miss.
